Did not say only Republicans could be TPers.

The TP is simply a euphemism for the Conservative Movement these days.

The Democrat Party these days is COMPLETELY Socialistic. Why any conservative would want to be a Democrat these days is simply ridiculous. Like a Jewish person wanting to join the Nazi Party.

I see. So Republicans are permitted to attempt to rescue their party from Socialism, but Democrats are not? Tsk Tsk...

Democrat Party has been progressive since the days of Woodrow Wilson. Socialist since the days of FDR and radical since the days of George McGovern. It is too far gone.

And you are enough of a political expert in these matters to make such a prognosis? Your posting history doesn't give one give much confidence.

Is there anyone I missed?

Rep. Ike Skelton (D-MO)?

Skelton was a moderate Dem at best. Here is what Wikipedia.com had to say about him:

“Skelton voted against the 2001 Bush Tax cuts. In 1981, he voted against Reagan’s tax cuts. He was supportive of labor (unions). The League of Conservation Voters rated Skelton at 53 percent on environmental issues.”

I would not call Caddell a conservative.

I would credit him for being honest and independent.

I would consider him a moderate Dem.

I was uncertain, so I added a question mark to the suggestion. I do remember him as pro-gun, pro-God and pro-life, which is rare for a Demoncrat.

Those facts were also mentioned in the Wikipedia article.

Skelton certainly would have needed to have some of those positions to survive as long as he did in a rural district in a red leaning state.
