This was never about Bergdahl. This was about getting back at Karzai for dissing Obama during his visit to Kabul last week. Yes, it really is that petty. Bergdahl is just a distraction. Karzai now knows who is really boss here as he now has to worry about five competent military commanders returning to the field. And the American press has now forgotten all about the VA scandal.
