I want flyers who can fly, shooters who can shoot, bombers who can bomb, fighter pilots who can shoot down, missile officers who can land ordnance on the target. Beyond that, as a Christian, I would prefer they followed Christian morality, but as a taxpayer, I do not care what pictures are in the cockpit, I care who sits in the cockpit. To quote a present CinC: if I like my Blue Angels, I should get to keep my Blue Angels. PERIOD. Legend has it that somebody complained to Lincoln that General Grant drank. Lincoln is supposed to have said, "If it [drink] makes fighting men like Grant, then find out what he drinks, and send my other commanders a case!".
