One of the most embarrassing ones was about a year ago when he spent a lot of time on this documentary about a guy MIA in Viet Nam for 44 years. It turned out that the story had been debunked and the guy was a Eurasian con artist trying to impersonate this poor man for years.
Another time Savage was trying to talk about a food safety story and kept saying tomatoes when it was peppers. They’re both nightshades.
I used to often suspect that he went on air half in the bag when the show was on TRN, and that was also the real reason for the fake, spliced-up third hours.
There, I said it.
The one I really, really miss is Brian Kilmeade. I really enjoyed his show a lot. I still miss the Fox channel on Sirius. Now there is only the Patriot station for us and of course about 5 liberal choices!
I also wish Bauer and Rose were on more often, they are both serious minded and amusing which is a nice combo.
I used to think Glenn Beck was like that, but it seems every time I tune in now he’s talking about spiritual renewal, which is great, but not really what I’m looking to hear.
Levin must buy lemon and honey by the case. I couldn’t yell like that for 3 hours five days a week.
I suppose that’s one way of looking at it.
John Batchelor rocks, once you get past his distinctive speaking voice and delivery. I like the book segments, and Gordon Chang.
As a person who has listened to Rush every day since 1992, I don’t think it, I know it.
What was startling about their treatment of the eligibility issue was the utter lack of thorough investigation and reasoned analysis, even from the “great one” constitutional lawyer. They were apparently intimidated by the elevation of a rule of ridicule above the rule of law despite their pretensions to the contrary.
As the number two show, do you think he is going to slip to some lower place?
What are the numbers on his show having “tanked”?
If we got her in this market, I’d tune in, just to see how she’s changed. Maybe on KOMO, or something.
One shift I detected is a change in attitude toward abusive men. Now I know that women make false and frivolous accusations of abuse and I know that women can also themselves be abusive and often get away with it, but for her I think the pendulum may have swung too far the other way. I also heard her seeming to give a man something of a pass on infidelity, something she NEVER used to do.
I have my own views on marital infidelity, but I’m just talking about Dr. Laura and her own consistency.
Now, how many of the hosts do you think are reading this thread?
How many of them or their people do you think have posted on the thread?
I know it's a small thing, but it's a really annoying interrution to the flow. I wish he'd get the "good evenings" done before he starts with the material.
Or as Ilike to say, Savage has the unique abilty to cram 15 minutes of material into three hours.

Well the numbers that I’ve seen don’t support your claim that Hannity has “tanked” and is on his way out.
It would have been more honest for you to simply say that you don’t like his show.

Medved is pro-(traditional) marriage, pro-life, per foreign policy even says the USA doesn’t need to fund any country even Israel.
Well, if Medved is who you were speaking about, you didn’t even get his name right. I’d like to see enumerated exactly where he is liberal on issues.
He could be more pro-life, that’s true.
But Savage is outright un-listenable. I thought Obama was full of himself, Savage must think he's the greatest thing since sliced bread. Can't stand the guy. Switched to 10-15 minutes of music in the gas guzzling global warming SUV while going home from the train station.
Savage just sucks.
I think I’ve made it pretty clear in this thread and a few others that I don’t like his show.
It’s terrible. It’s beyond terrible, and yep I think he’ll retire. I realize that his listeners followed him, and that Savage is bleeding listeners. That only makes sense, because Savage is just plain horrible.
But I didn’t follow him, and I expect a number of other didn’t either. Furthermore, his television show lost viewers for similar reasons I expect.
There is no point at all in watching or listening to Sean Hannity or any one on his show.
One does not learn anything from him, his crew or his guests. None of them are insightful, and most of the time it’s just undecipherable arguing between people who will never agree on anything or ever change anything.
I’d rather watch an off TV or listen to an off radio to be perfectly frank.
These are my opinions, ansel, take them for what they are worth and leave me alone please.
