Is the backstory that paleocons just want to trash someone they consider a neocon (that is, a supporter of Israel)?

I think that's pretty much it.

I can remember when they were screaming that Jerry Falwell was a "neocon." There could have been only one reason for that.

Can’t you just imagine the Democratic reaction to having the ‘nuclear option’ being used to ram through Sarah as Sec Interior :-)

Jews were the first to regard the murder of the unborn or even infants as an absolute evil.

Every other civilization regarded it as OK until the rise of Christianity.

Take away Biblical morality and there’s not much left of Christianity. Inertia may propel it along for a time by claiming belief in Jesus is more important, but the civilization it created is rapidly disappearing.

Her first national interviews occurred with ABC’s Charlie Gibson, on September 11 and 12, and were a disaster. Remember this?:

GIBSON: What insight into Russian actions, particularly in the last couple of weeks, does the proximity of the state give you?

PALIN: They’re our next door neighbors and you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska.

GIBSON: What insight does that give you into what they’re doing in Georgia?

PALIN: Well, I’m giving you that perspective of how small our world is and how important it is that we work with our allies to keep good relation with all of these countries, especially Russia.

We cannot repeat the Cold War. We are thankful that, under Reagan, we won the Cold War, without a shot fired, also. We’ve learned lessons from that in our relationship with Russia, previously the Soviet Union. We will not repeat a Cold War. We must have good relationship with our allies, pressuring, also, helping us to remind Russia that it’s in their benefit, also, a mutually beneficial relationship for us all to be getting along.

GIBSON: Would you favor putting Georgia and Ukraine in NATO?

PALIN: Ukraine, definitely, yes. Yes, and Georgia.

====

I'm sorry, what did she say above that is a disaster and disqualifies her in the author's mind?

A great compilation, SoCon. But trolls like Tex do not want facts—it interferes with the suckling of leftist Kool-Aid.

She was unqualified so we elected Obama...proving she didn’t need to be qualified.

Civilized people do not fall for the idea that a woman murdering her baby is right in any sense of the word. We have just had too many uncivilized people in power. By the numbers I have never seen a single poll that shows abortion supporters out number those that do not support it. Not sure how that translates into the power pro abortion people seem to have.
