For goodness sake, Sarah should not be under a magnifying glass every time she appears on camera or before the public. She has done so much to enliven the conservatives. She is the one that caught our attention and gave me hope God had sent us a able leader. So of course, the enemy attacks her ruthlessly and constantly.

True conservatives need an honest voice (however much we may not enjoy her tone of voice), it IS what she says and stands for that is important.

Let US WAKE UP AND GET OUR HEAD ON STRAIGHT. SARAH IS OUR BEST POSSIBILITY WITH PERHAPS TED CRUZ, DR. BEN COCHREN, RAND PAUL AND a couple of others, WE NEED TO SUPPORT THEM ALL as best WE POSSIBLY CAN..

The one thing that stands out is liberals stand together, no matter what ... and conversely Conservatives/republicans can not seem to agree on anything. We eat our own and squabble over too many issues to ever make any progress in returning America to its Constitution and former values that made America GREAT!

God Bless America!

Mark Levin rips National Review for cheap shot at Governor Palin

Posted on April 30 2014 - 10:14 - Posted by:

Via Josh Painter, this commentary by Mark Levin is right on the money.

Mark Levin via YouTube

always thought it was the exclusive province of the Left to feign outrage when someone says something that doesn’t fit into their politically correct fantasyland. Not anymore, apparently. These morons, Dreher, Brennan, et. al., are purposely and aggressively missing the point in order to take a cheap shot at a conservative fighting in the trenches whose influence and credibility they’ll never come close to matching. I don’t believe for a moment that they’re dumb enough to believe what they wrote. They couldn’t be. But it’s clear they think their readers are. In Governor Palin we have one of the few conservatives who’s unafraid to mock liberal orthodoxy and its politically correct dogma by taking the fight straight to them. You beat the Left and all they stand for opposing them, not joining them. And yet the aforementioned morons, who I assume call themselves conservatives (like Levin, I’ve never heard of them), have adopted the tactics of the left by leaping into the fray as the self-anointed speech police for the right.

Since when did conservatives become so hyper-sensitive that they’re too obtuse to comprehend a one-liner at a speech? Since when should conservatives go out of their way to not offend those who go out of their way to be offended? I must have missed these developments, and certainly don’t agree with them. If being a conservative these days requires the contrivance of faux outrage on my part, no thanks. Oh, by the way, here’s a tip for the speech police: The word "baptize" has more than one meaning.

When I see articles and commentary such as this one, they cause me to seriously wonder about the identity of the Republican Party and Conservatives in general. I would like to know what they believe. What do they stand for? What percentage of Republicans are conservative these days? What percentage of Republicans are on the left side of the spectrum? What percentage are in the middle? What percentage of Republicans are pro-life? What percentage are pro-abortion? What percentage support gay marriage? What percentage support low taxes, free enterprise, a strong national defense, small and limited government? I seriously have no clue. Of course I have long known that the party has its share of RINO's and left-leaning wannabees in the country-club set, but I have long believed that people like me were in the majority in the Republican party. I am beginning to think I am in the minority.

Every conservative talks big about political correctness in speech gone awry, and then they go ape$hit over Sarah using the word baptism in the same sentence with waterboarding. The over reaction on this issue is so ridiculous that it’s insulting.

While the rest of these “intellectual” giants are playing footsie Sarah is playing hardball and they can barely comprehend it.

“The officer is God’s servant for your protection. But if you are leading a wicked life you have reason to be alarmed. The “power of the law” which is vested in every legitimate officer, is no empty phrase. He is, in fact, divinely appointed to inflict God’s punishment upon evil-doers.” - The Apostle Paul

I think God WANTS governments to protect their citizens, and to strike fear and terror in the hearts of evil-doers!

Waterboarding is torture. Gov. Palin is the right’s Joe Biden. I know I’m outnumbered on this thread. I don’t care.

Waterboarding is NOT TORTURE!!!!

True. Next time you're in the shower, put the washcloth over your face and let the water hit it for a minute or two. You might come up sneezing, snorting and even coughing, but no permanent harm. It is not as bad as getting water up your nose at the beach.

I love Sarah.

I do have to agree about her voice, especially when she’s speaking to a large crowd.

Let the microphone do the work! Reagan knew that.

1. It’s probably asking a lot of a woman who was baptized Catholic and has family in the Church but who’s spent most of her life in Assemblies of God and then non-denominational congregations and got her education in the faith there to think like a Catholic on this sort of thing. Actually, no “probably” about it. It is asking a lot.

2. I think that line, as the context shows, was as much or more out of frustration with current administration policy than a literal statement of Palin Administration policy. You can rightly deplore how she said it, and still admit she has a point. Nidal Hasan is not just your normal garden-variety federal employee gone postal. The Tsarnaevs aren’t just college kids whose prank went horribly wrong. Islamic terrorism, organized or irregular, isn’t just a crime, it’s war and should be treated as such. Waterboarding isn’t necessary. Torture isn’t necessary. Being honest with ourselves about the nature of the situation is.

3. The behavior of much of the professional class, and even some of the rank-and-file, in the GOP and conservative movement toward Sarah Palin from August 2008 to the present has been, and continues to be, to their shame.

[Flatulent Dreher discharging] If I thought that kind of hateful declaration and abuse of the Christian religion was what conservatism stood for, I wouldn't be able to call myself a conservative...

So don't. We don't believe you anyway, you self-righteous East Coast Political Machine prig.

What a moron.

Levin took aim at Rod Dreher at The American Conservative, calling him a “nasty creep” for basically writing that Palin’s ‘baptism’ remark was blasphemy and suggesting she was comparing torture to a “holy sacrament of the Christian faith.”

“Everybody knows what she meant,” Levin said, “everybody knows it was a laugh line.” Levin continues, “But Sarah Palin is easy pickins so they pile on. Tough guy, huh?”<=> Levin points out that Sarah Palin is out there “breaking her neck trying to get conservatives elected and trying to keep the base strong” and she’s dismissed by people on “our side.”

“This is how “our side” treats “our side,”” Levin adds. “You’ll never seen the left or Democrats do that to a woman on their side ever!”
