Move to a red state.
Here’s the one who coined the phrase, if you can spare the time: https://www.facebook.com/drjamesdavidmanning
You’re mean when you’re loaded.
I haven’t had a drink in 32 years.
So you’re this way all the time!
ROTFLMAO!!
I have been meeting 40 year olds with worries about their future without their parent’s juicy income. hehe
"Millennials" are a product of the school system the American public abandoned them to and it's the people the age of their parents and older who should have known better than to let Federalized government schools spend more time with school age kids than their parents do.
No wonder they went nuts for Barry, they've been trained just like Pavlov's dogs to salivate, cheer for, and fall madly in love with whatever MTV and the media shove in front of them and the government schools did everything they could to equate the "hip" politicians of the democrat party with the same people they cheer for at concerts and in movies. They've had it drilled into them that it's all about the latest fad and celebrities so the democrat fascists make whoever they want elected a fad (easy to do if you have the media in your pocket) and a "hot" celebrity (easy to do if you have Hollywood in your pocket).
Reap what you sow, as they say. Yielding the schools to the democrat fascists was yielding the future to the democrat fascists but putting government schools back under State and local rather than Federal control has never been worth the sort of fight future generations deserve if we're going to ever have a Constitutional Republic again.
JMHO
Yup, nailed it. Before I retired a while back, I interviewed prospective employees for open positions. Just one example of many, a young gal fresh out of college demanding I offer her more money for a starter position. She wanted some $30G more than the position offered. Argued with me as I nudged her out of the door. Another guy, in his fifties, was very pleasant as he offered to do whatever it took and would take anything. I hired the old guy, and he worked great. Too many spoiled young people expecting more than what they're worth.
VERY GREAT ADVICE GRAMS!!!!
I don’t completely blame those that have been spoiled. Somebody had to spoil these young people - and that is where most of the blame lies.
I tend to think the advent of the student loan system has coincided with this phenomenon.
Want to amaze a college student? Tell him student loans haven’t always existed. That’s right, we were fine for almost 200 years without them. Smaller programs existed during the space race starting in 1958, but Sally Mae didn’t start until 1972.
And for some reason, if nobody asks you any hard questions about repayment, you begin to believe that its not an issue...and eventually students think there is an implicit guarantee that completing a 4 year degree on leftists studies 101 equals a good job and a middle class lifestyle for the rest of their lives.
And the program has expanded rapidly in recent years...as have unrealistic salary expectations.
And its not just the loan program. People’s tv sets are full of class warfare politicians and slanted entertainment - leading many to believe they ‘deserve’ a middle class lifestyle.
????
First broached this subject with one of them when he was a teenager and just beside himself over a particular girl. We were on a ski lift in Colorado headed to the top. Was going to be a long ride and I knew I had a captive audience. He later asked his dad if I had really told him to keep his zipper zipped when he was a teenager. My son said it was all he could do to keep a straight face when responding “Yes - you must have been riding alone with your grandma on the ski lift today”.
God provides the place you just have to recognize it as such and jump in.
The future of Millenials will be harder if they ignore the reality that an eighteen TRILLION dollar debt indicates a problem, but even if they reversed all of the mistaken programs of the past, the competive pressure I noted above will likely dictate a slowly decreasing standard of living. Reality sucks, but it doesn't suck as much as failing to recognize it.
Millennials bump for later......
Absolutely correct. Romney won 18-20 year olds, IIRC.
