I like him better after hearing his opinions - some based on logical thought and others on personal experience. Not all may be convenient to others, but they are viable and he has the right to express them.

What we CAN do is seek for God and obey His heart desires. Bundy sounds, perhaps, a bit ignorant. But there could be gracious ways to help him wise up. It’s not about us in the end anyhow. It’s about God.

You are correct - it is about God. Being a Christian sometimes puts me in conflict with some of the issues I want handled in certain ways because I am a selfish, self-serving Human at the core of who I am - we all suffer similar traits despite the "goodness of our hearts". I believe the borders should be locked down and the illegals deported.

The Bible says things like: “When a stranger sojourns with you in your land, you shall not do him wrong. You shall treat the stranger who sojourns with you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.

You shall allot it as an inheritance for yourselves and for the sojourners who reside among you and have had children among you. They shall be to you as native-born children of Israel. With you they shall be allotted an inheritance among the tribes of Israel.

My personal sense of right and wrong puts me in conflict with my faith. My personal sense is also based on what is best form me in a financial and Freedom oriented set of memes.

I don't think Bundy needs to be wised up - he has opinions based on experiences and is able to communicate them well. We may not fully agree with them, but they speak to a Truth that is part of who he is.

One big problem with liberalism as we know it in the west is that it is usually chintzy about being liberal with its own resources, and big about trying to coerce others into being liberal with theirs. Salvation is about blessings, not about curses. And blessings are voluntary.

I absolutely agree. One Biblical truism that the Liberals seem to wish to ignore is "If a man will not work, he should not eat". I am wiling to feed those that cannot feed themselves, but it torques me to be forced to pay for those who simply will not feed themselves. That causes another Christian conflict - I would stop feeding the lazy and Jesus told us to "Resist not a evil person" and also added that when a man takes our shirt, give him our coat too. Obedience to the Lord is difficult - especially when one is interested in politics, the Constitution, and Freedom.
