These are fun responses, but they’re also kind of sad. There are, after all, families in the area who are not 100% libtards, and also families of conservative congressmen may be affected. What about staffers who may hold conservative views? What about the good people at The Heritage Foundation? What about conservative folks vacationing in DC hoping to see the monuments?
Are you willing to sacrifice the lives of these innocents to rub out a few enemies?
A lot would depend on the time of year. In all seriousness, I’d start filling water containers, make sure the Jeep was fully fuelled and in the garage, unpack a few key items, and hunker down for a couple days.
Our family had a serious discussion about this very topic within the last 2 weeks. Obama is so feckless, I do believe our enemies will attack the homeland before his term ends .... with what is going on in Nevada, it looks like the “enemies within” (also a direct result of Obama’s regime) will attack first.

(I telecommute to a building a few blocks away from 16th and K, so I’d probably stop working on whatever I was working on. If the day was one of the rare occasions when I needed to come in to the office, I’d vaporize along with everything else.)

The surviving political leaders would certainly react by imposing what would be (but we wouldn’t call it) FASCISM. There would be a heavy-handed state imposed on all of us as a wild, thrashing, blind reaction to the attack, regardless of the source of the attack (N. Korea, Iran, etc.), and it would be WE THE PEOPLE who would suffer.
Example: 19 Muslims from Saudi Arabia and Egypt seize our airliners and crash them into ground targets. REACTION: target American taxpayers with humiliating grope-downs.
Any attack on the political class in D.C. would result in a harsh crackdown on the rest of us, the innocents.
If it were the Norks, even though the government would restrict OUR liberties, the gov would still call out the Norks as the perps. (Thank God for that.)
Same with Iran. (But only if it were the GOVERNMENT of Iran.)
If it were a non-governmental entity, say, a terrorist group, the government would call it out. (Good.)
Unless, of course, if it were an ISLAMIC front group, in which case, even after being nuked, the government would FAIL to identify the perps, instead casting blame on anyone and everyone else, even blaming ourselves for being too provocative and deserving to be the target of the attack.

Like all parasites, Washington D.C. has put into place a lot of measures to protect itself from things that may be detrimental to its host.
Most of the politicians have underground tunnels that run from their offices to the buildings where they congregate. And as you know, the offices are large enough to live in and have all of the amenities most of us taxpayers can’t afford on a middle class salary in Obama’s America.

Now I gotta go find a place where I can go buy a “Pocket Hose Ultra”...TV ad was playing as I was writing this...
First I would pray that my wife wasn’t at work should such a frightening and horrific scenario actually take place. Secondly, I would pray she didn’t suffer if she was at work when it happened. Thirdly, I would pray that I was with her at the end. If I survived (because I don’t actually work in D.C. anymore), I wouldn’t cheer or throw a party or act as if nothing happened. I would pray for my country and those who were killed or injured and their families.

I was down there one time working a job in Tyson’s Corner. Was awaken in the middle of the night with a deafening boom. Waited for the building to be blown apart. Realized a minute later it was a thunderstorm coming though. Had to change my underwear though.
What would I do if a nuclear bomb hit DC?
I’d clear my desk-—and make plans to attend all the WH and Congressional funerals.
First thing I’d do is realized that suddenly my state government would have basically the same power it had before the Civil War.
I’d then either pat myself on the back for getting my solar power system in or curse myself for not doing it, depending on which happened.
I’d frantically try to get my daughters to my place. I’d buy every single piece of ammo for my guns that I could get my hands on.
