The Enquirer has a very strong record of NOT losing libel cases ... they have only lost a few and settled one out of court ... they verify and verify and verify and run stories past their legal department before printing anything major! I’d say they are definitely a more ACCURATE news source. They have the best defamation lawyers, and are the most careful to get the facts right (or be clear on what is opinion or an account told by a witness).

If NE says “an insider says...” that makes me believe that the insider really said it. It doesn’t make it true, of course.

For anyone who's read about obozo and his homosexuality and “arranged marriage” with his beard, the mooch, they will know that there's no sexual contact between these two..when they're together, their body language reveals two awkward adults when it comes time for some display of affection between them to the public. obozo can turn on the charm and “pretend” feelings of caring about anyone or anything else except himself. But their body language speaks louder than words. .

Edwards barred from Bunny Mellon’s funeral

When the former politician and his daughter Cate Edwards, who is also his law partner, arrived Friday at Mellon’s funeral at Trinity Episcopal Church in Upperville, Va., he was barred from entering, a source connected to the Mellon family told NY Social Diary blogger David Patrick Columbia.

“The service may have been open to the public, but he was not welcome,” Columbia said.

Edwards and his daughter watched with the rest of the overflow crowd on a big screen in the adjacent parish house.

After a moving eulogy by actor Frank Langella, and a poignant rendition of “The Rose” by Bette Midler, the thick-skinned Edwards — seemingly oblivious to the family’s wishes — followed the funeral procession to the cemetery.

“He was working the crowd near the graveside after the service,” Columbia said.

Thanks for that. I didn’t see him getting barred. Trinity Episcopal Church (which was originally a gift from the Mellons) is very small and can’t hold a big crowd anyway so there were a lot of people who didn’t get in.
