That may be in French speaking Brussels and home of the EU. I didn’t find that to be the case in other areas of Belgium when I stay there for months at a time.
But you are right, their pacifism and political correctness will be the end of them. Antwerp had a Muslim mayor or council member who said his first allegiance is to Islam.

It will be fun to watch the Left explain why the exact same phrase is vile sexism when uttered by a white male and a protected form of cultural expression when uttered by a Muslim.
