Smart people realise if they don’t know something and ask questions. In this case, there are (I think) good answers, but nobody finds that out without asking.
The aeroplane will never be found but the governments in the area will use the accident as an excuse to rev up the tourist trade, you’ll see. An old trick started if I’m not mistaken in the Holy Land and then carried to Italy, Spain and other sites of various miracles. Boycott the tourist bureaus, and watch for the pickpockets!
o/t but The Dish is one of my all time favorite movies!
Agreed
Thanks again for the Local Reports and info
Ugh, it’ll be another tourist trap
“This is science’s chance to be daring...”
Yes, I love that one. Not least of which because it did help publicise the fact that Australia is involved in this type of thing and has been for a long time.
Yeah, middle of the ocean for a change. Original, fer shore.
Let’s hope a whirlpool appears
Local reports is one of the best things about FR
Other day one of the co workers of the scientists reported in. Brilliant people who will be missed
Twenty artists. A group of calligraphers. Family of six - mom dad two children grandparents pray for their souls and the friends and relations
The pilot and co pilot probably did fight that fire and lost the battle
Where else but on FR?
I have recommended The Dish to many for the same reason. Most don’t know or remember the part Australia played in our space program. Plus, it’s simply an excellent, entertaining movie.
Bitcoins vaporize!
24m is about 80ft? That pretty large. It's not a port-a-potty.
"Crew on @USNavy P-8 spotter tell @WrightUps "significant radar returns" coming from site where possible #MH370 objects spotted."
Air Commodore (one star rank) McGarry of RAAF speaking now. Explaining that image is coming in progressively.
Evidence is credible enough to trigger a large search diverting a lot of resources.
.
How true.
Next part of this riddle:
If there was gold on that plane how long before zer0 has a Super Top Secret Dive Team there to grab that gold before anybody else get down to the wreckage.
If this IS indeed MH370...
It’s also too big to be a shipping container that fell of a cargo ship which would be the most likely large debris I think you would find in the open ocean.
The Dish 1.
The Dish 2.
Brilliant Australian film based on the true story of how the Parkes radio telescope in a field full of sheep in rural New South Wales broadcast the first images of Neil Armstrong on the moon - and almost didn't.
It’s funny, but some MP’s in the House would remind me of the old guys in the Muppets jeering from the balcony.
