He is of mixed ancestry.
Why is this relevant?

Plus, he’s about the leftmost crazy they could readily get their mitts on.
Oh, don’t got there? Why not?

“He defended a very unpopular killer”
This may be a clue to Judges, like Roberts, who
hold the actual Constitution in contempt as they
write “laws” on the fly, and lie in Court,
... to help criminals.

It’s one of the “race” buttons liberals like to push.

The 50 senators voting on this judges appointment was like voting for&against a “King George/Castro Like” individual to be a leading civil rights Judge/Magistrate.

"He represented a death row inmate convicted for murder."This may accurately reflect what Roberts did and there's nothing wrong with "representing" murderers. That's the job of a lawyer.
But that misrepresents what Adegbile did in the Mumia case. He joined the radical leftwing propaganda campaign and praised Mumia to the heavens. He was a political partisan, not a person who could objectively enforce the law and enforce civil rights laws on a colorblind basis.
Adegbile, don't let the door hit you in the butt on your way out. Good riddance.

He was unfairly rejected For a fleeting moment I thought this headline was for an article about Judge Robert Bork.

Probably the most shallow construct I’ve ever read.
Thanks for posting. Interesting and informative of liberal faux-logic.

Roberts is of mixed ancestry? What British and Irish? What a weird comment.
And yes, there are depraved worthless humans who still have to be defended

Why is this relevant? It was part of a rhetorical bait-and-switch designed to evoke an outraged response from liberals who thought they knew who the author was talking about.
To: yldstrk
Yep, he’s apparently of Irish, Welsh and Czech ancestry. Can’t figure out that comment either.

Yep. Apparently the FOP pulled out some of the same tactics that the Left utilizes when they want to gin-up a campaign to torpedo a nominee. Apparently they don't like having the hose turned back on THEM, cause they're screaming like scalded cats this morning.

The leftists whining about Debo's rejection always conveniently 'forget' one critical point. The nay votes came not because of Debo's defense of a guilty man, they come because Debo led demonstrations intended to hide the fact the the man was guilty. Debo used deceptive practices to attempt to free a guilty man.
Besides, any adult who takes on the name of a Sesame Street character isn't worthy of leading anything.

This may accurately reflect what Roberts did and there's nothing wrong with "representing" murderers. That's the job of a lawyer. Exactly. In law school, I was told that you represent your client, you don't have to believe what your client says. Adegbile crossed the line when he acted as a "true believer" in his client's "cause." Even though that cause was patently based on lies. While that may make him a good advocate, it disqualifies him as unfit for public service.

If the writer think he's making his readers think twice about yesterday's rejection of Adegbile by comparing him to John Roberts he's dead wrong.
Speaking for myself, at least.
