When I woke up yesterday, there was an envelope on my door saying I have an appointment today at 2:30. I hate last minute things...
Then, I got behind the world’s slowest driver from Washington state, as I was going to Walmart to get a prescription. He just stopped in front of Walmart doors, but had no signals on and no one got out. I honked, he got out of his car, waved and said, “HI!” Then moseyed into the parking lane where he took a spot in the handicap section.
GAH!
I got there just before the pharmacy opened and of course, there was a line. The girl in front of me took something off a shelf to see what it was and when she put it back, she knocked two things over, but didn’t bother to straighten them. So I did, and made sure she saw me.
It was finally my turn next and I felt a tap on my left shoulder. It was some gal in a wheelchair. She pointed to the people in front of me and said, “She was holding my place for me.” I looked at her and said, “I didn’t get the memo.”
I was glad to get home.
