Change it to a watermelon/ fried chicken flag with a corn row border.
I know
I should have clarified
My father was friendly with Meredith...political influence stuff during a union strike as I recall
I doubt Meredith is all worked up over a prank
Shame Ole Miss so lib now..
Must be time to stir up the Democrat voting base again.
According to the 1860 census there were 30,943 slave holders in Mississippi in 1860 and only 773 free blacks of all ages. The math doesn't work.
So did the white males desecrate the statue by hanging a flag on it? Is that what they are being charged for?
I haven't a CLUE as to what you are trying to say to me. NOT A CLUE!
IIRC there was also a noose around his neck but that doesn’t seem matter.
OXFORD, Miss. The three Georgia 19-year-olds believed to have put a noose around the neck of a statute of James Meredith at Ole Miss may not face criminal charges.
District Attorney Ben Cheekmore said Friday that they have looked into several misdemeanors, but because the statute was not damaged, he has not found any that would he could prosecute in court. Cheekmore says while the act is despicable, it may also be protected under the constitution.
The students, whose names have not been released, may still be disciplined by the school. And the FBI said it is still investigating.
