nope — Arizona - that far west...been to Iraq and Afghanistan - that far east...
I’m sure there are great patriots in California - I’m sure there are true politicians that really care for conservative values - and I’m sure Hollywood and LA determine alot of people’s perspective on what California is like - without regards to the mid and northern areas where people have farms and other communities that don’t share the liberal agenda...
So - my statement is that - if California has a state govt that over taxes and takes away a citizens right to own a magazine of more than 10 rds and all the other liberal BS that people talk about — then leave the state and let the govt die out - go back and repopulate it with conservative elected leaders...
I’m as frustrated as you are - but I don’t hold allegiance to any one state - since I’ve live in several of them...Like NY - never will I go there and live - especially since NY City voted in a high minded socialist...don’t really care to have privileges that I’ve enjoyed in other states taken from me by a state like NY...that’s what I’m saying...
I used to live in WV - and people all over make fun of those people like it’s no bodies business...but there are some well grounded - traditional thinking - family value - God fearing residence in that state - and yes, their political elected leadership sucks!

California is a crazy state with lots of extremes. I lived there 3 1/2 years.
A lot of great conservative people and a huge economy. The most conservative person I know actually lives in San Francisco. She is more conservative than most people here actually!
The liberal malaise is everywhere. Fascinating to go to the Reagan Library in Simi Valley,. California had gotten into a big mess similar to today; Reagan came in and cleaned it up. Great place to visit if you get to Southern California.
I assume you served in military having journeyed to Iraq and Afghanistan; thanks for your service.
