Sarah needs to realize that the only thing juan mccain is dedicated to is juan McCain.
McCain is pro America. His ideas for making the USA great may be right or wrong or some combination, but he is pro America.
And this is true of most of us.
Sarah is not perfect and neither is McCain or you or I.
Get over it.
What?? Who dare censor John McCain?
Sarah will not let this stand!
McCain said Cruz, Lee and Paul are the Cuckoo caucus
Sarah is loyal. One of the virtues, so long as it doesn’t displace something more important.
Here, some kind words for the old feeble ex-hero doesn’t mean she is turning her back on the movement. McLame might want to use her kind vague words to convince folks that he is a good guy and a conservative. But really, how well will that work in practice? No one on this board is buying it.
One thing no one ever seems to mention about McLame, is how slimey he was during the Keating - savings and loan scandals. The SOB took a LOT of money under the table and later claimed to be for cleaning up campaigns! Geez.
Oldplayer
I think she will run for McCains Senate seat when he retires and that is why she has a home in Arizona.
Quid Pro Quo.
>> McCain came out head and shoulders above Obama.
Not exactly a high bar to clear.
It goes without saying we dont all agree on all political issues. For instance, I shall keep pushing to open ANWR, I oppose letting illegal aliens cut in line and receive American benefits via immigration reform, and I oppose any Congressional action that allows President Obama to incur more U.S. debt. During this time of dangerous lawlessness in the executive branch, those who agree on stopping the intended transformation of our country had better unite to fight. So at this time, it's perplexing to see Senator McCains good efforts to uncover the Obama agenda being ignored and perhaps even hindered now by those wanting to censure the Arizona Senator. Despite our differences on some other issues, there is no questioning Senator McCains dedication to national security in spite of the White Houses agenda.Couple of things.
1.) IIRC, this is the first time Governor Palin has staked out her differences with Senator McCain. In past writings, she's only spoken about their common beliefs.
2.) She's trying to keep everyone's eye on the target, President Obama. There's nothing to be gained by ostracizing McCain at this time, especially if he's attacking the Administration's Benghazi debacle.
All resources should be focused on getting as many conservative elected in November as humanly possible.
>> some kind words for the old feeble ex-hero
McCain is a sitting, influential Senator.
The harm he causes to the Republic almost daily is palpable.
And Palin is abetting his efforts.
That is NOT a good thing! It’s not even a benign thing.
It’s stupid of her, frankly. Has she no solid ideals? Is she opportunistic at every turn? Has she zero ability to recognize who helps the cause, and who harms it?
My thoughts?
You really want MY thought?
John McCain is God blessed by Sarah Palin's friendship, which exists despite his political faults and vast differences with hers, like she pointed out in her tribute to the Anniversary of the signing of 1973 the Paris Peace Accords.
What is her demented attachment to that guy?
Politics is the mother of strange bedfellows?
There we go Onyx.
Sarah can disagree with someone without becoming Nasty (even if it is McCain).
Which is more than I can say for many on this thread....
Most of these here attacking Sarah Palin were never, ever gonna vote for her anyways, for one reason or another.
I’d be shocked if this latest FB posting actually lost more than a handful of voters, because those who against her for this probably don’t like her voice, or where she went to school, or her daughter’s appearance on DWTS, or whatever other reason they have.
So even though I’m not a big McCain fan, I understand her feeling that loyalty is a virtue, and that’s just how she is.
I respect Sarah Palin, for some reason she will always be loyal to John McCain even though he has never really been loyal to her..I respect her decision but I will never respect John McCain, he trashes Conservatives and calls us whacko birds, he is a Liberal I guess that is all that can be said right now
I think with Sarah, she tries to find the good in everyone..that is what I like best about her..she thinks she owes McCain for bringing her to the National stage..I can respect her decision to be loyal to him, I dont have to agree with her but I respect her decision
Right.
This thread and her tribute to the signing of the accord is just an excuse for the many of the same old suspects to VENT.
