Lot of pain there, I would imagine.

Just the tip of the legal iceberg concerning the dysfunctional lifestyles of the LGBT crowd and their desperation to have a “normal” family life when in fact there is nothing remotely normal about their lives.

No matter what you think, even if mankind could start all over again, there would always be some “mediator” or third party authority to settle disputes. Disputes are inevitable. Once two people are brought together, disputes will occur. The same is for laws, written or unwritten. Nothing would change or be any different!!

Depends on the state, but so many laws are now phrased “in the best interests of the child”, that I would not say no in all cases.

Exactly!! If a paternity test was NOT done at birth, and the H signs the birth certificate, it’s all over for him to later argue the child is not his. He is stuck!! Texas knows all about this.

“My only problem is...how much is the state gonna spend on lawyers just to recover $6,000?”

Not a dime. He’ll be entered into the local county’s child support enforcement database and that agency will make his financial life hell until they’ve squeezed out every cent owed.

I do believe, however, that some states allow paternity tests against Daddy being the biological Father to seek damages against the twit mother. IMHO, this problem happens faaaar too often, where Daddy is not really bio-Dad.

One of the things that bugs me about that phrasing is that the courts are basically saying that the rights of children trumps the rights of adults. It makes children a sort of “super citizen”. And the irony is that they usually grow up to be adults.

In war, adult males are canon fodder. In peacetime, they are economy fodder.

Even worse, the females know this, and CAN leverage it in many different ways. Get pregnant by Chad, quickly bed a “good candidate” Mark, happily announce to Mark that he is the father, and off we go. If Mark contests and by some mechanism can divorce the skank and be absolved of support, on to the entitlement gravy train she goes. Life is good!

Usually, stories like this would get me incensed over the court deliberately bypassing an agreed-to contract to specifically place a undo financial burden on a party where it is not deserved. In this case, it makes me happy to see an irresponsible man - no doubt liberal in his political and social views - reap the consequences of attempting to subvert Natural Law. He deliberately enabled two individuals who naturally were never meant to have or raise children, yet provided a means to have one of the individuals involved become pregnant despite them being adverse to conceiving a child through having a natural relationship with a man. Seeing a liberal being eaten alive by a monster they have created and deliberately enabled is a lesson worth learning.

Honest question: If a man is kidnapped, force fed viagra and raped by a very attractive woman and she gets pregnant, is he liable for child support?

Yes. Males are just ambulatory ATMs.

Well, to be niggling and legalistic about it, no contract is valid if it contradicts statute law. Nobody can complain if the judge simply applied the law, even if it does not produce the desired outcome.

Was the law right? Well in general, the most and best a law can do is to secure the natural rights of the child to be supported by her natural parents. That, bare bones, is what is being secured here.

These results are never going to be optimal in society which has just gleefully and triumphantly demolished the natural foundations of marriage, sex and procreation.

I suspect this gentleman bats for the other team and had no moral issues with lesbians having children and this would be one of his only chances to procreate.

I feel little sympathy.
