I wish people on our team would recognize that Stevens has almost nothing to do with the Benghazi story (except winding up dead).
He wasn't "murdered", he wasn't the objective, his death was an accident.
IT'S THE "ANNEX" that the Benghazi enemy operation was about. More precisely, it's a building there (there were 5) subsequently called the "warehouse".
There WAS a "demonstration" at Stevens' residence (not a "consulate"), but it was a demonstration in the military sense, meant to draw defenders away from the target - which it did. The enemy soldiers at Stevens' residence got sucked into an unexpected firefight, which set the building on fire, and he suffocated.
At the "annex", there were at least 30 Americans, maybe more. After the "warehouse" was overrun, they were defended at an unknown location until they, some of them wounded, could be evacuated the next day, after which they disappeared.
The key questions about Benghazi are:
1) What was the purpose of the American base in Benghazi now called the "annex"?
2) Who was the senior officer or official present there?
3) Was this a rendition or interrogation site, and, if so, who was being held there that night?
4) What was stored in the "warehouse"?
5) What are the names, service branches or agencies, and duties of the 30+ Americans evacuated the next morning, and where are they now?
Poor Stevens is a sideshow, perfect boob bait for the Stupid Party.
It was most certainly not a "diplomatic mission".
Stevens and his merry band had nothing to do with the attack, except for getting dead, probably by accident.

In the Benghazi scandal we found out that the United States, in the person of Ambassador Stevens, was actually supplying arms to an estimated 60,000 Al Qaeda rebels in Syria. Why? The answer is the Shi’ite Crescent of Iran, Syria, and Lebanon. Al Qaeda rebels in Syria are Sunni Muslims, while the Assad dictatorship in Syria is Shi’ite. Naturally, the Saudi Sunnis have done everything in their power to slice the Shi’ite Crescent (Iran, Syria, Lebanon) in half. The Saudis have therefore sponsored and armed murderous AQ rebels, who literally decapitated children in the village of Maloula, where the language of Jesus is still spoken, as we saw in iPhone photos that flashed around the internet. Killing Christians and Jews is what AQ does best, as Americans should have learned after 9/11/01. But in a pinch they will also kill Shi’ites, like the Assad regime in Syria.
When Ansar al Shari’a, an AQ-linked group, killed our ambassador and four other Americans in Benghazi, it was essentially a corrupt arms deal gone wrong. The United States colluded with France and other European countries to overthrow Gadhafi in Libya, with Ambassador Stevens acting as the point man. Stevens, who is a CIA plant under State Department cover, then worked to smuggle Gadhafi’s vast arms supplies to the Sunni rebels in Syria. That plot failed, because nobody can make a reliable agreement with the AQ’s, who are themselves sliced and diced in the usual way of the Muslim world. Ansar al-Sharia therefore decided to burn out the Americans at the Benghazi arms depot, and, according to some reports, steal tens of thousands of MANPAD anti-aircraft missiles for their own use.
Four hundred of Quackdaffis manpads were "lost" hence the forty million reward money Hillary authorized. She was up to her ears in Benghazi and undoubtedly running the op.
It was Stevens' job to get the manpads back. He was killed in the process.His killing most likely due to retribution for killing another terror type.Plus he was openly gay. Muzzies dont celebrate "gaydom" like our dear leader does.

I don’t know if it’s TRUE, but it’s what several Dem congressmen & State employees have said in response to GOP remarks about the recent Benghazi “report.” And it has been reported on Fox. (Therefore, several talking heads have claimed it’s all Stevens’ fault.)
Stevens was said to have “refused” additional “military” security; purportedly, he wanted “State Deptartment security.” Anyone know what that is?
To my knowledge, Stevens’ purported preference for the nonmilitary assets wasn’t made public until last week.

Stevens had turned muslim from what I read. He trusted these goons waaay too much as became all to obvious.
No one can dispute that the British and French presecnes in Benghai had been atacked along with so many other “infidel occupied” buildings. It was obvious to anyone who looked at the situation that the annex and and our version of an embassy was next. You had to be a fool to trust the locals and not put Marines or the equivalent at the embassy for security.

Yes—but whether or not he went muzzie seems moot next to the trust he obviously placed in Hillary and Obama. He not only presumed they had his back, I’m guessing he also followed pretty strict orders NOT to reveal his needs (like military back-up) in communications that could be traced or used against either of his bosses. Why this rationale hasn’t yet been offered is just beyond me.
