You know what? If scientists want to use their own money to try to find evidence for the discredited "big bang" nonsense, that's fine. But the South Pole Telescope was funded with our tax dollars!
Funny how you can't use tax money to fund creation science - somebody might be offended - but there seems to be unlimited money to chase unproven non-Biblical theories. I guess it's alright to use tax money if it offends Christians!
I KNOW the origin of the universe! God, who designed and built the universe, told us how he did it. I don't need money used to try to disprove God's Word! What a huge waste of money.
Consternation aside, the “twisting patterns in the polarization of the cosmic microwave background” exists. God made us curious, why not study it?
AFAIK, the Big Bang and Genesis line up nicely.
Just as on a spiritual level we’re to humbly accept reproof for our failings, in the physical realm if a theory that can survive *proper* scientific scrutiny is proposed “in good faith” it shouldn’t just be dismissed out-of-hand.
That certain “scientists” blatantly begin with an agenda (i.e. a faith-based approach) doesn’t necessarily mean we should throw out the BB with the bath water...
He did not tell us how he did it. That is a lie.
Thanks for posting. Interesting article. The Big Bang is consistent with biblical teachings. Let there be Light and there one heck of a big bang of light. So I am not sure why your panties are in a wad.
What part of this do you find to be so totally unbelievable?(dare I ask)
In order to see light from around the time of the ‘big bang’ the object emitting the light would have to be about 14 billion light-years away. Or more accurately, 14 billion light-years away, 14 billion years ago.
But according to this theory, all matter was compressed really hard in a ball the size of a pea 14 billion years ago.
(So we were about a quarter of an inch from the farthest outreaches of the universe. Why does it take 14 billion years for the light to get here?)
Isaac Newton was pretty much a fan of God. Gravity is a non-biblical theory, too.
