Ok, Trayvon. Take your physical assaults to some other neighborhood.
My fault. Good Night.
Carry on.
And be advised, do not assault people.
Close, actually just down the street from Big Ed's Pizza
In Jackson Plaza
Everyone is 7’ tall and former Spec Ops on the Internet.
I’m only 5’10” and was a 6027. Jet engine mechanic.
Get your head right before you get hurt.
i agree, if you read my comments you will see that. there is an onus on the business to make people aware of such policies because they can vary from business to business. this place let him in and was serving him as a customer and partway through it told him of their policy. should’ve mentioned it before he sat down if they didn’t have a sign up. it was handled poorly and unprofessionally.
It is possible that another customer complained. They might not of had a policy on this. The guy should have just took them off like he was asked to do. Instead he wanted to be a drama queen and force them to ask him to leave.
it’snot like this technology isn’t available already and peole use it already. it was a point i was trying to get across to him and he didn’t get it either.
Oops - thanks.
Why is it that the conservative issue always has to give?
No Guns sign is okay. No Gays sign is not.
/johnny
why does the complaining customer automatically take precedent?
the restaurant has cameras recording all of the diner’ areas. why aren’t tey bitching about that recording?
this is the same crap deal open carry people deal with. because someone sees something they don’t like, based on thier biased assumptions.
the better way would have been to ention something to the guy on the way out, for next time.
(wasn't it 'fava beans'?)
I think in the future you will see signs banning them. I don’t drink anymore but most of the bars I drank in would have run him out for his own protection. A traffic cam or surveillance cam is one thing but somebody just walking up and sticking a camera in your face is another thing entirely.
he was sitting at a table not geting in anyone’s face. that’s different than actively harassing someone. and there already are standards for harassment so that could be dealt with.
As time progresses, there will be more and more wearable recording devices, and some of them will be completely impossible to detect. The net result: This will sort out a lot of things in court. This will also help to prevent a lot of cop abuse.
“Will this do?”

excellent :)
Well I think he would have been better off if he had politely taken them off and continued with his meal but he and you obviously think it better to push the point.
Look, all I’m trying to do is ask what rights does a business owner have? Can he ban Google glasses? Can he ban guns? Can he ban gays if he thinks they are detrimental to his business? As a homeowner I have the right to ban everything (except guns & gays(if the cop is gay) if they have a search warrant.
Can’t wait for one of these glass-wearing nerds to walk into a crowded restroom.
Unless you pay big dollars to screen and sweep for stuff, you have very little privacy.
Covert pens, hats, tie clasps, rocks, clocks, smoke alarms, sunglasses, eyeglasses, clothing, forward looking vehicle rear view mirrors, wrist watches, car antennas, etc, have been available for many years which allow one to record audio/video.
To uphold that policy wouldn't they have to ban ALL photography and taping? If someone is taping a family birthday celebration would they allow that and not the Glass wearer?
this is why i have no idea why people are acting like this is such ‘new’ danger or ability. people wear pinhole cameras and do stealth recording. if they wanted to they could do it with far more stealth than google glass.
this why i say it’s the same hysteria behind people who freak at an open carry person. they see something they don’t like because of narrow biased assumptions and there they go.
