That drives me nuts. Last year we had a ten foot wide, four foot tall wall of snow at the top of our driveway, before that picture was taken. Without the Kubota, we couldn’t have moved it.

We started digging at it with shovels and a neighbor came with his plow and dug us out. We have fantastic neighbors.

We had neighbors like that in our old neighborhood. The city always seemed to wait until we were shoveled out, and then ran their plows past our driveway and slammed in a snow dam. Without our neighbors, we would have had quite a time of it.

We live on a county route and those guys just plow because they have so much territory to cover but sometimes when the township comes by they try to take a gouge out of the wall.

It’s good to live in the country. When we first moved here, my brother in law was lost trying to find our house, so he called our post office and they gave him directions. We were so touched.

That was kind. Country people are definitely different than city folks.

I love living out here.

Nicely snowed in till at least Wednesday here. Then we must get out to grocery and load up the wood bin.

I went to your home page. What a beautiful site in which you live! How much snow did you get?

It stopped! At least for a while. Don’t need to shovel again yet. I didn’t do a real clearing job in the driveway but I have four wheel drive. Hopefully, it will warm up some and most of the rest will go away.

Freezing rain now but the magnesium chloride that I put down is doing a good job with that.

Nine plus. Record fall for December. We are having more ice come down as we speak. All schools closed and those in sheriff and county road dept are ready for the higher level of emergency.

We are on a milk route so the farmers keep our road pass able most of the time. My house/barn is on a hill. I can usually slide out. It’s getting back in that’s near to impossible

I always say I have no problems driving on ice and snow. It’s the stopping that has me stumped! (Particularly downhill)

I hope you are all Ok this morning. I know that there were many, many vehicles involved in accidents yesterday. I hate ice. We got a bit of ice and a dusting of snow, but that’s nothing compared to what so many others got.
