Savage thought he said he took a vow of poverty but the ‘priest’ really said he did not take a vow of poverty.
He is a priest in a rich town he said, he could be real and really naive-I am sure his digs are quite nice
I guess it was the ‘priest’ belief that he thinks people don’t need more than a 1000sq foot living space (heck, people can live with much less sq footage but that’s not my business or his). He seemed bothered that Savage would buy expensive sailboats and sell them every two years, he seemed bothered by Savage having money or more than. He also said he suffers depression and that he wouldn’t be able to talk to Savage or even function— if not for his medication. I didn’t hear much God in this priest’s discussion.
I did and still do find this ‘priest’ disturbing.
