That means in Pittsburgh you need to stop listening to the following stations. AM 970 WBGG, FM NewsTalk 104.7, 102.5 DVE, 96.1 KISS-FM, 105.9 The-X, and Penguins Radio 105.9 HD2.

That means pretty much all sports broadcasts except the Pirates and Pitt Panthers are out.

Never thought I'd be agreeing with the Occupy types that Clear Channel owns too many radio stations.

The Quinn and Rose show has been on the air for 18 years with great success. Ten of those years were at 104.7. We love doing our show.

We want our listeners to know how much we have enjoyed bringing you the news every morning. We feel like we are all part of one big family. Your loyalty and support over the years has meant so much to us and we think you know that.

Please know that we appreciate each and every one of you. A morning without you is like a morning without coffee. And we HATE a morning without coffee!! You have always meant so much to us. We cannot find words adequate to express to you just how much.

Thanks ryderann! I just heard the news! Let’s pray that they are back on the air soon! I’m still going to have the Quinn & Rose discussion thread on tomorrow morning. I don’t want to lose contact with any of you! We’re sticking together until they are BACK!!!

i expect quinn and rose are victims of our politically correct fascists, blacklisted...quinn was too quick, informative, popular, and entertaining to be tolerated by our one party media.

i’ve suspected for some time that the popular host was being watched as he was removed from one station after another after democrats gained control of houses of congress in 2007 and began using their control to influence media markets, i distinctly remember a surge of inane big brother gov’t advertising.

It is time we organize and stage a protest to show our dissatisfaction to The Rose and Quinn show being removed from the air. I live near philly and will drive out to take part in a protest in front of the radio station! We need to start to take action and put some pressure on the station. I miss the daily information and education that I obtained from their radio program. Anyone out there interested????? We need to take action!
