A local gun shop owner told me that another one of his customers had a new Colt revolver stolen in the sixties. Federal law enforcement returned it to him last year in mint condition.
Amazing how smart those micro fish are and how much they remember.
I’m amazed at how little changed between that 1953 Tiger 100 to my 1969 TR6-C, which I had significantly modified.
But they don’t know where Barry was born.
It is a trip back to see those skinny tires - That contact patch on the ground would make me rather cautious.
Too cool. But I won’t click on Yahoo links anymore. They can go to hell.
Love the Old British Bikes, have owned a BSA Royal Star,441,Spitfire,Firebird scrambler Triumph Bonneville, Royal Enfield, and my favorite Norton Commando S. Still have the Bonny and BSA Firebird. Great fun to ride.If you like retro bikes they sell imported Royal Enfields from India built from the original molds and updated electronics, took one for a ride and it ran great.
To me, Nortons are and always will be the bomb, only thing cooler would be a Vincent.
I’ve browsed the Indian built Enfield site, they are sweet looking (especially that OD dispatch rider bike, needs only a number plate on the front mudguard to send a chill up my leg).

Sorry about the repost. Never rode a Vincent but I love the looks. I have a neighbor who is into Vellocettes, he has quite a collection. I like going over just to drool over them.
Well, to be fair, they did eventually "find" it. Hard to imagine how something so important could be "lost" though.
"NO WAY!"
