Whoopie Goldberg would say it’s not anti-semitism anti-semitism.
I'd shop in the ethnic stores and restaurants, and get cold fishy stares. They'd take my money but were unfriendly, unlike in American supermarkets and fast-food restaurnnts.
The neighbors would come home from church on Sunday and start to party noisily. When I complained about the noise I got called a "dirty Jew." Never got called nasty names like that before or since (no longer living there).
When I tried to tell this story to an ex-boss of mine, he was quick to jump on the ethnic grievance bandwagon and accused me of being racist. No, I said, I wasn't being racist--they wree being racist in calling me a nasty name.
BTW, as to Zundel's immigration problems, aka illegal status, both in Canada and the US, too bad. Nothing wrong with deporting illegals.
I don’t know about Armenians, Hispanics have high rates of antiSemitic bias, particularly recent immigrants.

Yes they do like my brother who told me that Israel does not belong to the Jewish people. I didn’t want to start an argument. This was not the only time I heard him when father was alive and we were in the middle of the Gulf War, my brother stated that all this is because of Israel. I told my father who is a strong believer in God if he heard what his son said. He told me no so I told him and I told my father that my brother’s business will NOT prosper he will struggle with his business as long he has that attitude. Well that occur around 1990 and his attitude has not change and he voted for Obama because he is articulate (sigh) now it is 2013 and he is still struggling. I truly believe that God bless those who Bless his people and Israel but those who curse will be cursed.

I consider myself a “reformed anti-semite.” No, I can’t say I hated Jewish people, but I did labor under a number of, shall we say, “preconceptions.” Since that time, I have learned, and grown, in my respect for Jewish people. Jewish contributions to the arts, science, and philanthropy are outstanding and speak for themselves. I refuse to be jealous of people simply because they are intelligent and sucessful; instead it should be celebrated. I think that jealousy is the root of much anti-semitism, and is also the root of much of the leftist class-warfare we see in our present regime.
Which brings me to another point. I do not understand how so many Jewish people can embrace the souless principles of Marxism, especially since American Marxism embraces the same underpinnings of class warfare jealousy that fuels antisemitism. But while I condemn them for being Marxist I cannot condemn them for being Jewish.
I also cannot understand how the shrews on the View can get away with such absurd statements, without being publicly castigated. Imagine if they said the same things about blacks or homosexuals.
How much Anti-semitism from the Left do you think it will take to cause Jews to abandon the Democrat party?
I’ll get you some links to the ADL’s annual survey, which is pretty good but hard to find on their site. Highest amongst blacks, I believe upwards of 40%. Whites are down in the mid teens. I believe Hispanics are upwards of 30%, however that’s heavily weighted toward recent immigrants. Which probably includes illegals. If I recall 2nd and 3rd generation aren’t much above whites.
I certainly know all about black anti-Semitism. But since any Hispanic that I know has very limited English (!), I have no idea what their feelings about Jews are! This is not my country anymore, btw.
