Well I am sure his Tea Party caucus (~ 1/5 of his members) wants Boehner out but :
1) That’s not the same as them stepping up to the plate to be speaker themselves
2) I dont think the judge is a great source to go by, I assume his viewers wanted to hear that.
3) I heard he warned them what he would do a week or so ago.
Thanks, ping me with Bohner updates its an issue of interest.
Gohmert and King orchestrated this whole thing to delay amnesty. I think some of the wishy washy republicans like Labrador and Gowd wanted a way out of pushing immigration against their own constituents. Also politically the shutdown caused the public to realise there are more immediate things than amnesty.
The way Gohmert got under the skin of the blacks on the Judiciary was brilliant with his Grasshopper comment.
Ive seen King in an interview talking about how many web hits he got because of the Cantaloupes statement and how he bought some software to measure the outrage.
I think Gohmert and King do say controversial things to control the narrative. Why hispander when King is whipping the caucus to pass his Dreamer amendment.
McCain attacking Gohmert is a good thing in the scheme of things. Boehner, Cantor, Ryan and all these other RINOs would not be stupid enough to attack Gohmert.
Vitter, Cruz and Lee are the smartest Senators. In the house most of the GOP are dummies except for King, Gohmert and a few others. I was hoping back during the Senate immigration Debate one of Rubio’s La Raza operatives would attack Vitter on his past. It would backfire. If Harry Reid was stupid enough to attack Vitter it would backfire on Landrieu. No one in his state wants to hear about it. Instead Reid comes up with some wimpy comment about Vitter wanting to be governor.
