“As usual, the blue cesspool cities determining the outcome.”
If that was true Christie wouldn’t be governor. Hillary didn’t run here for a reason when she had to pick a “safe bet” state.
Now it’s time to return the various favors in spades.
spare me the comments about the “lesser of 2 evils
“35% for Lonegan in Essex county”
I don’t know if he’ll keep 35%, but Essex County has some very wealthy areas that are taxed out the arse paying for Newark, Irvington, East Orange.
Reporting has ground to a halt.
95% of Camden County has reported.
I want to believe. I really do. I’m so tired of the disappointment. I pray to God he pulls this off.
No results from Bergen or Union.
Lonegan’s been keeping the gap at 20K or so for the past 20-25 minutes, but the remaining votes will probably expand that gap.
My guess is he’s capped at 46%, probably 44% before all is said and done.
181/550 precincts reporting in Essex. There are still many place not reported throughout the state.
Remembering Reagan: I heard it takes a midget 20 minutes to run a complete circle around Christie
AP reporting Lonegan at 22% in Essex Cnty

Whatever happens, this election is only to fill out the remaining year of the term. The seat is up for grabs again next year.
Christie beat Jon Corzine. It stands to reason Booker would do better than Corzine in Camden. It’s still essays to early to call anything.
You are almost certainly right in your call; but you are wrong about the vote. It's currently about 52% to 47% and it will tighten from there. Precincts counted so far are predominantly Booker areas. Loneganwill pick up as yet uncounted votes in Bergen, Somerset, Morris and Middlesex counties. But maybe not enough to win, unfortunately.
Bergen just reported it’s first precincts as 50/50
Gloucester is a near-tie. Lonegan needed to do better in all the South counties, this isn’t going to cut it.
