There were numerous FR posts WRT the 2012 VP debates. Victims of domestic abuse said it was too painful---they could not watch.

VP Joe Biden reminded them of their abusers' tactics----the smirking, the put-downs, the laughing when they tried to make a serious point, not listening to their concerns.

Boxer has nothing new to add to the govt shut-down---she prefers to steal conservative points.
