I'd like to see some concrete evidence of that. Sure, he got himself some headlines and made the talk show circuit. He got people to cheer him at rallies for a few weeks. Then once he'd sucked up all the attention he could get he dropped the issue like an over the hill European model. Trump didn't have the guts to follow through and besides, it would have been bad for business.
Oh yea of little faith.
Next you will tell me you don't believe that Palin would have beat Obama in a 50 state landslide, if only she had decided to run.

I don’t know whether to roll my eyes or make gagging noises. Since I’m not a teen girl I won’t do either.
You see either Palin or Trump would have beat Obama in a 50 state landslide hands down, if only they ran.
That is because they know how to ‘fight’
It just didnt happen because we let ‘them’ down with our lack of faith.
Much like the biblical Jews strayed from the rules and Israel was punished.
