"Out started six officers, seized my bridle, put their pistols to my breast, ordered me to dismount, which I did.
One of them, who appeared to have the command there, and much of a gentleman, asked me where I came from; I told him. He asked what time I left . I told him, he seemed surprised, said ''Sir, may I crave your name?'' I answered ''My name is Revere. ~Paul Revere

The Old State House.
On July 18, 1776, the Declaration of Independence was proclaimed from the east side balcony to jubilant crowds by Col. Thomas Crafts (one of the Sons of Liberty). At one o'clock Col. Crafts rose in the Council Chamber and read it to the members.[7] Then, fellow patriot Sheriff William Greenleaf attempted to read it from the balcony, but he could only muster a whisper. Col. Crafts then stood next to the sheriff and read it from the balcony in a stentorian tone. For most people, it was a festive occasion, as about two-thirds of Boston residents supported the revolution.~Wikipedia

"Of all the many talks I had in Washington, none gave me such pleasure as that with you. There were two reasons for this. In the first place, you are about my oldest friend. In the second place, your self-assurance and to me, at least, demonstrated ability, give me a great feeling of confidence about the future
and I have the utmost confidence that through your efforts we will eventually beat the hell out of those bastards

Change in plans! The surgeon cancelled his trip. All tests are go. Surgery is now planned for tomorrow morning. Will be transferring soon out of ICU to a regular room. The chaplain stopped in for another prayer. Looks like were ready to go. Pulse rate coming down. Prayers up!Praise God!
Praise God!
I'm so happy! We're ALL HAPPY.
Your surgeon might not know it, but God helped him cancel his trip.
PRAYERS UP!
I just got home from my orthopedic surgeon. I'm all set. NO surgery needed on my knee, now or forever, unless I take a stupid, careless fall. God is GOOD!!

Jim, that is great news. It will be wonderful when you wake up from surgery and realize that you are pain free! No more constant pain that you have probably been living with daily.
Prayers up!
