Democrts want mayhem but on their term. Either people are going to be for or against gettig government under control, but they are trying to keep a bunch of people in the middle and brainwashing them that when crisis will occur, it will be the fault of those wnting to limit government.
Right now they are campaigning becauae they know chaos and thuggish mayhem is coming.
