I was not characterizing what you said. I was characterizing what hosepipe said in our exchange, and he’s not disagreed with that assesment. You volunteered that based on that exchange you would side with hosepipe. If that’s not your position, why are you agreeing with him?

Science, or scientia (L.) means knowledge, or comprehension of a collection of truth and facts with respect to a particular area of interest such as philosophy, mathematics, chemistry, metaphysics, art, musicology, and yes, even cooking. There’s nothing complicated about true science.
The idol you are defending tacticalogic, is natural science and Darwinism, or scientism, the amoral magic twin of scientia. To be accused of anti-science blasphemy with regard to the scientism idol is an honor.

That's not hoespipe's position. He says science is people, and that all of them are wrong. So far everyone that says they agree with him immediatly turns around and contradicts him. He's seems to be a remarkably misunderstood individual, which I find puzzling. While I don't agree with him, I appreciate that he doesn't seem to equivocate or mince words.
