My ideas here reflect religious views of our Founding Fathers, plus around 50 million believers today who fall under the category of “restoration Christians”. I don’t think they deserve the disrespect.
***Heresy deserves the disrespect that Christ heaped upon it, He called false teachers such as yourself ‘sons of the devil’. No doubt you would consider Christ not to be Christlike when He says so.
Hebrews chapter 1:
In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe. The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. In speaking of the angels he says,

and his servants flames of fire.”
But about the Son he says,
“Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever;
a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom. You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness;
therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions
by anointing you with the oil of joy.”
He also says,
“In the beginning, Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth,
and the heavens are the work of your hands.
They will perish, but you remain;
they will all wear out like a garment.
You will roll them up like a robe;
like a garment they will be changed.
But you remain the same,
and your years will never end.”
To which of the angels did God ever say,
“Sit at my right hand
until I make your enemies
a footstool for your feet”?
Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?
Betty Boop says such heresy deserves no respectful treatment on FR, so does Jesus, and so do I. You should take your heresies elsewhere.

Many posters enumerating their heresies as truth do not even realize whom they serve as they seek to murder the souls of those who have yet to acknowledge that Jesus Is The Lord.
The more as 'subtle commonality' they can phrase their deceptions, the more they do their father's work. We have had very insistent Mormons doing this same work at FR. I think Jim ceased to tolerate the minions.

Well, I am not the authority here...but I think the Gospels can help us out here.
There were times when Jesus was afflicting the religiously comfortable with -- as you mentioned -- "vehemence." (Matthew 23 and John 8 are two prime examples)
At other times, the exchanges between Jesus & the Pharisees was more Q&A -- with Jesus' Questions oft' going unanswered...and still others when the discussions were brief and mild by comparison to the fireworks of the others.
So the answer is "all of the above." Jesus Queried. He discussed & dialogued. And He "blitzed."
At times He might have appeared to give the Pharisees a "platform" for their faulty legalistic interpretations; yet we can better identify legalism in the 21st century because of it.
And, He did call them a generation of vipers, to their face! Rebuke of the minions can be in order.
Well then there shouldn't be any problem with me staying right here other than you don't like it.

You keep saying that, but it aint true because you know when to provoke, when to go silent, when to join the bandwagon. In essence, you are the most accomplished toll on Free Republic. I suppose congratulations are in order, but it doesn’t stop me from suggesting that you take your antichristian & anticonservative trollings elsewhere.
You might ponder why no matter how many times you make the accusation, nothing happens.
