Robinsons father knew a different side of his son, who had a 9-year-old daughter. He was a good kid. He would help anybody, his father said. But the drug problem got the best of him.
Charles Robinson said he understood the homeowners need to protect himself, but he wondered why the homeowner fired a second round at his son, who he believes was unarmed. He said his son was shot in the side.
I could see him shooting out of fear with the first shot, Charles Robinson said. But that second shot, thats between him and God.
“......But “he was a good kid”.......
NOW he is a “good kid” and will do no more drugs, burglaries, assaults, robberies, etc., you know the drill.
Mr. Robinson, the homeowner is not the issue, your sons actions were. No excuses please.
All these good kids seem to be causing alot of trouble. Sure glad we never seem to have to deal with the really bad ones.
“at least” 28 arrests since 2002.

The comments you see on stories are heartening. There are a lot more people out there who think like FReepers than you might think.
The homeowner obviously misread the memo. Shotgon Joe Biden said two shotgun blasts into the air, not into the suspect.
The epitaph of so many of these scumbags: “He was a good kid but...”
They were warning shots. Robinson just got in the way.

From the picture slide show. It appears they are showing a much younger picture in the header. Or is this someone other than the perp?

One for his wife and the other one for their child. Besides, this way, it's over and done with. No lengthy trial, medical costs, incarceration, a win win all the way around.
Mr. Robinson, your son's first arrest? Maybe he made a 'mistake.' But the next 27 or so, those are between him and God, too.
I wonder if Mr. Robinson would feel the same way if some thug broke into his home to steal from him....
BTW...the homeowner fired the second shot to make your dirtbag son was not going anywhere else to rob and steal..
“But that second shot, thats between him and God.
God: “Nice shot.
With my 18.5 inch 12 gauge pump he would have gotten 6 rounds.
Another bonus is that the father no longer has to worry about his son getting in trouble again. At least in this world.

No, that is what any reasonable person should have done. Make sure the the mad dog feral beast was dead. Your son will have to deal with God
28 arrests, but he was a good kid
