And also living in Hyde Park was the brother of Madelyn Dunham, Charles T Payne, who was Deputy Director of the Library at the University of Chicago from the sixties until his retirement almost sixty years later. Charles T Payne was at the university while zero was a lecturer in Law at the U of CH - and his wife, Melanie, was on a committee with the wife of David Axelrod.

If anyone has ever wondered what Stanley Ann Dunham was doing in Chicago as an au pair (according to ‘Dreams’) in the summer of ‘I was only sixteen then’ look no further than Hyde Park imo.
