You obviously did not get the memo. We are the serfs, they are they political elite. They have a different set of rules than we do. In a nut shell, their view is that we are sheep to be sheared.

“It is an axiom among many in Congress that if staffers are forced into Obamacare, a “brain drain” will result as key staffers with years of experience will quit and go home to find other work.”
First of all, they are not going anywhere. They are
way too stupid to make it in the real world.
Brain Drain, what a joke. If they are so smart then why didn’t the
“smarter than everyone else” crowd think of this while
they were ramming Obamacare through?

I hate unions, but have to admit maybe there was at one time perhaps a need for them. Such a need is rising today. Wouldn’t a “union” for tax payers be interesting....deciding how the money we give them is spent, and if they misuse it, we cut off their pay...as in go in strike in an organized fashion. WE HAVE THE MONEY...seems like there would be ultimate power with such an effort. The “parties” are part if the establishment, so voting no longer controls this. Something different is needed.

There is or was a National Taxpayers Union but it was mostly ineffectual and wimpy in the big leagues. I think they maintain a blog somewhere now.

Ef that! If I cant get out of it, why should they?! Because you (and the rest of us peasants) aren't part of the ruling establishment.
I have a feeling that the next revolution will be more like the French one in 1789.

Ef that! If I cant get out of it, why should they?! Exactly! Congress has been passing laws for years and years that applies to everyone but them, even when they are no longer in office. They are citizens of this country as well and all laws passed by them should apply to them. Talk about a job with no consequences, but with many many perks. How many jobs offer that as well as 100% salary when out of office (even if only one term) Oh we need change all right but it needs to start in Washington with these creeps.
