Why do Republican voters in Arizona keep voting for McCain?
I noticed McCain was in Ft. Walton Bch. today for the funeral of one of his fellow POWs. The guy was a medal oh honor winner. I guess McCain still has a tiny bit of decency left.
Ah! thats how he also hornwoggles the voters in Arizona too..
He throws starving conservatives a “BONE”... and then beats them down like sniveling dogs..
He has all the decency of Caligula.. the compassion of Attila the Hun, the tenderness of Vlad III....
Democrats should be(and are wary) he can turn on THEM TOO.. and they know it..
BUT they “use him” like a rented donkey..
Arizona voter’s should be pitied (And watched closely)..
Many are Mexifornian traitorus RINOs..
I didn’t think so, but the caller to Mark Levin’s show said there were 17 states that allowed recalls. That must be for state officials and not national.
Curse the people of AZ who foisted another reign of McCain upon us.
You are correct.
Other dangerous Arizona critters:
They probably thought his high profile could help complete the fence.
Answer:Because he keeps getting elected as a Republican. Democrats and communists prefer that he retain that official identity.
Some American Conservative Union ratings based on actual Senate votes on issues of concern to conservatives.
Susan Collins (R-ME)
2011. (55% conservative)
2012: (20% conservative)
John McCain (R-AZ)
2011: (80% conservative)
2012: (92% conservative)
Jeff Sessions (R-AL)
2011: (88% conservative)
2012: (90% conservative)
Lisa Murkowski (R-AK)
2011: (50% conservative)
2012: (36% conservative)
Nothing like giving up the fight before war is even declared.
No wonder the GOP is such a mess.
The vote tells only a small part of the story. It is his advocacy in shaping the language to be voted upon, and the negotiations behind the scene that matter as well.
It is a fine dance to be able to vote for a conservative cause, if your friends give you cover by insuring that, in spite of your vote for show, the law will pass for the dough.
Very simple, we were sold out in his 2010 primary.
If McCain lost that trace back then he wouldn't be in Senate now supporting Obama.
Grahamnesty is next.
Sunday joke : Bob Schieffer on CBS FTN plays a clip of Gramnesty warning the GOP and then he follows it up with ‘And no Republican is conservative as Senator Graham’
What do you think of McCain as a member of the Gang of Eight pushing through the immigration bill?
Yep. He wants to betray others and be true to himself at the same time. As a liberal Dem disguised as a Pubbie he can do that all day long.
And he does.
I’m thinking Mr. McCain has been NSA’d.
My point was to compare McCain’s voting record to that of someone like Susan Collins who takes the conservative position so seldom.
There a lot of voters who judge politicians primarily on how they actually vote on issues of concern to the voter. Mc Cain gets reelected since 1987 because of his voting record which he has always been very skillful at defending to Republicans in Arizona. In 2010 he beat the Democrat 59% to 35%.
Because Arizonians keep voting for him....gag
I oppose all eight of the gang.
What did you think of Ronald Reagan being the only president to ever sign an amnesty for illegal aliens into law?
Just so you know, the ACU regularly rates amnesty lovers very high. They are closely associated with Grover Norquist, lover of all things muslim. Finally, they have been very cozy with Log Cabin Republicans and other gay agenda loving organizations.
Needless to say, I don’t trust them to rate conservatives. McInsane is a prime example of their inability to properly rate conservatives.
McCain voted against the Dream Act in 2010.
I think the Flake primary was more disappointing. McCain was going to serve the lame duck of the Democrat congress.
Flake almost lost to the token hispanic because he is so weak on immigration. Cardon would have been closer to 50% of the vote than Flake. The Libertarian Party is weak on immigration as well. So in Arizona in the general election there was no choice.
Mc Cain gets reelected since 1987 because of his voting record which he has always been very skillful at defending to Republicans in Arizona.
The conservative and Repub voters in AZ don't want that immigration bill so I wouldn't say it's very skillful on Juan's part to push it, Sheriff Joe is proof of that, he's still in office.
And Ronald Reagan has nothing to do with this, he was president and McStain is the AZ senator.
