It sounds like you are in a win-win relationship. You should marry her.

There are also those men who grew up with their “liberated” career woman mommies bringing home the bacon and spoiling them to make up for their guilt about working instead of being home with the kids. Add a kicked-to-the-curb father plus ne’er-do-well revolving-door boyfriends, leaving the boy with no positive, responsible male role models. Life in mom’s basement...looks good to them!

Just bumping for a guy that will be in the market someday. Good stuff to know had the current and only wife since I was 22, going on 22 years so I’ve missed an entire lifetime of goings on. Need to pay attention to this stuff.

I don’t see the problem. It’s not like she left with him. And if they did go to lunch (at the proper time), so what? It is none of your business unless you specifically have a policy against employees dating clients.

Maybe I’m just too protective of my staff, but I don’t think my employees should have to put up with that. I’m frankly puzzled how that came across as a brag...

It’s a really bad idea for anybody at a law firm to date a client, though that didn’t even cross my mind. I guess I’m really in the minority in my position - oh, well, it’s a FRee country.

Eh, I think you win on clueless stories! The chivalry in me tends to raise its head when stuff like this happens to my employees in my workplace. How I was raised, I s’pose. Besides, she could be my daughter and he’s older than I am, which is just creepy.

Women have to learn early to deal with dopey men. Men will always be inappropriate with women - it’s something we all figure out by the time we are too old to get hit on anymore. Unless he actually says something totally inappropriate, I would let her handle it on her own. Just my opinion, of course.

Ever notice how the older you get, the sexier the box of Kleenex on your night stand gets?

I’ve learned my lesson... My honeymoon was the period between “I DO” and “YOU’D BETTER”..
However, it was the happiest time in our union together, the rest was a hockey stick curve down.. :)

It’s simple, it’s like this:
She said to me, “It was nice having you.”
I replied, “It was nice being had!”

That chick odds of needing an abortion are about like my odds of winning the lottery. Yeah, but on the really off chance the "chick" DID "need" an abortion, would you want to deny "her" the opportunity? Think of the spawn that would be released upon the Earth. The very existence of that "chick" reinforces her own arguments.

secular morality brings out the very worst in people. and that is the truth. certain religious structures do too, but when people are left up to themselves to detrmine right and wrong, your religion is rationalization and anything can be justified.
Look at what our culture justifies by rationalization today. Everything.

avoiding marriage and fatherhood at alarming rates. Marxist libtards want to destroy traditional marriage and family. That makes it easier for the state to raise children under conditions of equality of opportunity.

Yeah, sorry about that. She told me she was separated. But she wasn't.
Actually this did happen in real life to someone close to me. Wife was going around telling guys she was separated, when her husband had no clue they were "separated".
She was awful. She was even texting her "boyfriends" in front of her husband's best friends at a party. So disrespectful... so callous. She was called on it by friends, but she pulled the denial and false outrage bit. She was just so indignant that anyone would dare accuse her! It sure was a sight to behold especially since I knew she was involved with several men in our community.. Got caught red handed, wouldn't admit it. Maybe they never do.
What baffles my mind is that everything seems turned over on its head. Instead of men being the unrepentant serial adulterers, the gen x women of my generation seem to be such. They have no shame. Everything is justified in their minds or they are "owed".
And they don't just "fall in love" with ONE guy, it's almost always a large number of men. I've known some men that strayed but they didn't act nearly as "prolific" or "active" as some women I've known... sheer numbers.
I'm really anti American woman right now. I've seen the very worst, and have to step back a bit. I'm sure there are many very nice woman out there. I just don't know many.

A very pretty woman is to men like a very muscular man is to women. Similarly a very voluptuous woman is to men like a very rich man is to women.
