It is surprising to me that she is not called out for her blatant racism, but then this country for the most part has accepted the lie that minorities can’t be racist because they do not have power (also a lie, in this country minorities have inordinate power)
Why is it that there are huge numbers of hugely successful individuals in this country that have risen from poor under class families with illiterate parents yet this woman believes that poor minorities are incapable of achieving similar feats.
How can people believe this woman who will tell you on one occasion that blacks are not inherently inferior to whites and to suggest that it is racist yet on this occasion she tells you that you can not expect blacks to achieve similar educational levels as whites given similar backgrounds.
Why will no one call this woman on her racism against minorities?

As rich white people leave the failing city districts, the tax revenue falls. The schools lose funding, and that drives more and more rich white people to flee.
They are looking for tax revenue from the suburbs, and potentially state wide (or farther).
My wife fights that at her school. She has helped some students. They come up to us after graduation, sometimes years later, to thank her.
But they are the exception. There is a strong culture of failure that they have to escape first. It is like an Indian Reservation in many ways.
Chicago teachers (at least a majority of them) are idiots for having this sack-o-crap represent them. If they are too stupid to make a better choice, then they are far too stupid to educate my kids. They are part of the reason we moved to the ‘burbs.
How much control have those rich white folk had in Chicago schools, or simply Chicago itself, for the past decades? Now that the Federal government is controlled by minority Chicago folk, has that helped any? Didn't think so.
