We don’t want him anywhere near our memorials.
Of course not. He’s on Kenyan Time. They don’t know anything about D Day
He celebrated it a few weeks early by letting that Marine hold his umbrella for him.
Right! Lincoln's Gettysburg Address had 268 words in it and NOT A SINGLE "I" OR "ME".
The jackass living in our White House would've had at least 50 "I" OR "ME" splattered all over.
Conservatives should take every opportunity to display the flag, especially before and on election day, because psychologists have determined that when Americans see the American flag, the vast majority feel “more patriotic” for as long as two weeks after. And patriotic feelings strongly favor support for Republican party candidates over Democrats.
So by displaying a flag, you are subtly encouraging undecided voters to vote for Republicans; Republicans and conservatives to get out and vote; and hardcore Democrats and leftists to stay home. What’s not to like?
Dates for the next two months Republicans and conservatives might use as a reason to display the flag, letting other people know *why* they are displaying the flag. (Those in parentheses I just threw in for ha-has.)
June 14 - Flag Day. The Continental Army is established.
June 15 - The Magna Carta sealed by the king. At swordpoint.
(June 19 - Julius and Ethel Rosenberg executed for treason.)
(June 25 - “Custer’s Last Stand”.)
June 28 - Treaty of Versailles formally ended World War I.
July 2 - US constitution ratified.
July 4
July 5 - George III declares American colonists to be in an open state of rebellion.
July 9 - The 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution was ratified. The Amendment defined U.S. citizenship and prohibited individual States from abridging the rights of any American citizen without due process and equal protection under the law.
July 27 - Korean War armistice signed.
Aug 1 - Birthday of Francis Scott Key.
Aug 2 - Most members of the Continental Congress signed the Declaration of Independence.
Aug 5 - Standard & Poors credit rating agency downgraded the United States debt from its highest rating of AAA to a lesser AA+ rating, marking the first-ever decline of credit worthiness for the U.S. The agency cited Americas $14 trillion in outstanding debt and ineffective political leadership regarding debt reduction.
Aug 14 - VJ Day.
Aug 17 - Birthday of Davy Crockett.
Aug 18 - The 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution was ratified, granting women the right to vote.
Aug 31 - Shay’s Rebellion. The rebellion prevented the Northampton Court from holding a session in which debtors, mostly poor ex-soldier farmers, were to be tried and likely put in prison.
Not enough voters left alive so our CIC feels there is no reason to commemorate one of the iconic actions in our country’s history of fighting for freedom.
(ooh, I used the word freedom. Guess that went into the data bases and the IRS is probably going to audit me)
Mr. ‘wars don’t need to have victors’ Obama has contempt for the US military.
They probably don’t know what D-Day is
Remember, our Fearless Leader said we would not have a surrender in Afghanistan like we did in WW II when Hirohito surrendered his sword on the Missouri.....ahem.....
Smartest prez EVAH!
Obama wasn’t raised in America until he was dumped on his Grandmother and she was a Communist.
He wasn’t taught to be an American.
Im not surprised anymore...
I do not need such an un-American to remind me of those days and the sacrifices my ancestors made for me...
I watched my films...Looked through some old pictures of my grandparents and relatives that lived through those times...I was moved, glad they stood up to these threats, but, I am ashamed at the same time as to the lack of commitment our generation has shown in honoring and protecting those sacrifices...
We better get our act together!!!
Thnx. I wuz jus wonderin ...
He’ll be there for the shin dig next year commemorating the 70th anniversary shin
“Obama wasnt raised in America until he was dumped on his Grandmother and she was a Communist.
He wasnt taught to be an American.”
You are correct. I think my tagline says it all!
They show WWII programming every single day. :)
I'm not surprised by Obama's failure to recognize the D-Day anniversary - I'm just wondering how many other politicians from both parties were secretly relieved that they didn't have to say anything about it, either.
Fine by me. He’s not worthy enough to speak of it.
World War 2 was nothing but a giant meat grinder that was enacted to wipe out millions of men of European descent. If we look back upon history the communists won that war. Nothing but communist policies have.been enacted since hostilities ended.
Yes Dresdens fire bombing was a war crime by the allied forces. When the city was bombed, it was no longer a military target but a refuge of those fleeing combat areas. The city was bombed to funnel the civilians into a centralized area, then that area was targeted. More civilians died in the forebombing of Dresden than Hiroshima and Nagasaki combined. But everyone here hates Germany so Churchill and Roosevelt get a pass for Dresden, just like Stalin gets a pass here for the Holomodor as well.
Did you see Obambio today? TOTUS was not ready and he had no prepared notes, so he STOOD THERE for about 45 seconds waiting for the words to appear.
yes he will be
I HATE to think of him on that sacred ground.
he will just try to have us believe his uncle liberated Auschwitz instead of the Russians
I hate the lying ignorant socialist.
and I know his minions are reading this
It would have been sacrilegious for Obama to express thanks for the gallantry and lives of true USA citizens that opened the door to defeat Hitler and his Muslim cohorts. It will be interesting to see how he and his enablers respond/act on the 4th of July. Perhaps he can/will fold his hands again over over his crotch like once before to show his real attitude toward US history. His latest words, along with others, about secret data on US citizens reminds me of a person who would use bird shot to kill a fly. I don’t trust courts especially secret courts and or public employees as to my rights that are given to me by much higher authority .
