Yeah, Gary England has saved countless lives with his weather reporting. Always cool and telling it like it is.
That mess on I-35 could have been a massive disaster, but things look to have moved east of there for the moment .. those folks dodged a huge bullet.
I wonder how much warning they had?
I hope all is well with your family members...have you heard from him? I am sure he is busy with all of the aftermath...prayers up.
Won’t be dark until nearly nine.
Problem is, you are probably dead if you aren’t below ground in an EF-5.
Let’s just pray they continue to dodge this demonic monster.
Hospital on full alert. Many casualties.
I especially appreciated how Shep kept letting the spotter talk, only interrupting him to repeat and clarify, and not putting it in his own words or translating incorrectly. All along he emphasized the uncertainty and impossibility of predicting what would happen (or had happened, for that matter). A stark contrast to the fools at CNN.
Terrifying indeed. This is as close as I ever want to be to one. Now developing in St. Louis and Madison County IL area...
Tornadoes: coming to a Midwestern state near you. Please stay safe everyone.
Yep...that’s what i understand too.
Yep...that’s what i understand too.
People survived the Moore tornado above ground in enormous numbers.
Shep deserves credit. I don’t agree with him much of the time but tonight I appreciate him.
Now heading into Illinois from Missouri. Lord help them.
No. I have family from Weatherford west of OKC, Mustang and along I-40 going east. I won’t hear anything probably tonight.
I agree regarding Shep.
The green sky footage was unreal.
Some were lucky. I wouldn’t risk it in a bathtub.
Prayers for your loved ones..
OKC metro police scanner... http://streema.com/radios/Oklahoma_City_Police
Tom...just heard the woman and baby pulled from their car earlier did not make it after all. :(
Spent another hour in the cellar tonight. I’m gonna hang some pictures in there and do some interior decorating..... sheesh.... I live south okc.... 4 miles from the worst of the moore damage.
There is NO excuse for these people to not have stayed put or left early.
