Brand's perspective is that mental illness is more at fault in the attack than the influence of radical Islam and that root causes must be analyzed, as well.

The mystical beliefs of mohammedanism are shared by all mohammedans.This makes them all unfit to live in civilized society.It might be mental illness that causes the actual attacks on the innocent, but it is the lack of reason and rejection of reality that makes one a concrete-bound mentality and thus susceptible to evil mystical beliefs.
