Genetically modifying wheat and every other crop for centuries using in-the-field methods and people who know nothing about agriculture say nothing, but do genetic modification on the lab bench and the ignorant follow the lawyers screaming we need more laws so we can sue. Just one more lawyer scam to collect money from the innovators. I think roundup was developed on the lab. Bench too. Please note these same ignorant people still eat like pigs.
Front-page lead story in the WSJ the other day: organisms have become resistant to the built-in pesticide in Monsanto crops, so now farmers are forced to use pesticide in addition to the Monsanto built-in one to protect their investment.
When we have the famines prophesied for the future, they will be caused by Monsanto, not alleviated by Monsanto. The chemical geniuses have it all backwards.
