Private Manning is still receiving his E-3 pay, yes. I assure you that it is nowhere near Maj. Hasan’s pay rate. He was an E-4 at one time but was dem9oted before the Wikileaks episode. I am ashamed that I share his MOS.

Yet the families of the Ft. Hood victims don't get SQUAT from the government who insists it was workplace violence so as not to be required to pay THEM benefits?

The fact our insurgent gov't is paying Hasan but his victims' families are DENIED benefits by the gov't is VERY telling.

Also, burial and medical expenses of the victims need to be deducted.

that should not be too hard to arrange. I recall after WWII, some colonel had to pay for a Sherman tank for which he was responsible because an inventory showed it was missing somewhere in Europe - never found.

Everyone in the service gets a free lawyer in a court martial, which is what this is. He will never pay any of those expenses, that’s not how the UCMJ works.

There’s a huge difference between civil service employees and active duty military.

Until a court martial relieves him of all pay and allowances, he’s on active duty and his pay continues.

It wouldn’t matter who was in office.

The bastid killed 13 people and shot 32 more. But he hasn’t been tried yet after 3 and 1/2 YEARS. What sort of incompetent layabout is this Commander in Chief? Does he not care when someone slaughters those under his command?

Thursday: Hanging.
Friday: Confiscate all assets and distribute to victims and their families.
Monday: Repeat the above, with Nidal Hassan as defendant.
