I have a better idea.
Let’s just say that since 1979 we’ve attempted to integrate women in the military. At the time, we thought we could deal with the obvious issues that come with that decision.
We thought that allowing homosexuals in would help the situation.
What its done is degrade readiness, morale, and even the welfare of the members and their families.
As such, end the experiment. No more females, and no more homosexuals. The military is there to protect vital US interests abroad, and homeland defense. As such, all male, and all hetero - end of social experiment.

Didnt the admin also claim a poll which indicated the service members supported legalizing gays? YUP - this is the administration of liars.

You are absolutely correct. Again, come of the common sense approches to this issue would be the “roll back” of co-ed living and training. There was a commander of a particular Marine unit in Japan who took this very common sense approach to mitigating these certain types of buffoonery by segregating the males from females in billeting. There was such an outcry from these subordinates and advisors around this commander that he reversed himself. Until we are willing to address the very basic, the complex will continue to spiral out of control. IMO.
