Part of the unions problems are the liberal arts degreed idiots that they hire as administrators. They employ fuzzy logic and language such as representing a bakery and it becomes easy to bypass them (when government does not intervene).
GFY unions!
That's the spirit. Never work again, because you might lose your job.
Hang in there, guys...I’m sure Hell has some union shops waiting.
The Baker’s Union forced them into a strike that everyone knew would kill the company. It was about the union throwing its weight around, and the workers could go to heck.
Another 'non-productive' communist...
I want a Twinkie AND I WANT IT NOW!
Who you barkin at luv? I’m not a union guy. Wtf?
See you get my point. kcvl thinks I’m for the morons that think “equality is a right” thing.
All the big unionized companies near me have gone out of business. That tells me something. Unions at one time in the early 1900’s helped balance employment injustices. Today’s high powered union thugs are the difference in successful companies and those that fail. They are not needed in today’s society and serve no real purpose other than to steal dues from workers to fund liberal political causes.
You mean the new owners figured out that it’s not economical to pay union wages to non-productive feather-bedded loafers?
What would unionized loafer Bud, and even the non-union loafer Lou, have to say about that?

Wanna bet David B. Durkee lives in a half million dollar mansion and has a paid driver and vacations on Martha’s Vinyard?
Yo, Davy Boy, you stabbed your membership in the back. Now you sit and cry the blues!!
HEEHEEHEE,
What goes around comes around Davy Boy.
Eat **** and die, union pig.
I recall seeing something about how the former Hostess [union] employees could collect federal bennies under some foreign competition law if the Hostess filed for bankruptcy.
I didn't see any follow-up about it, but I wasn't surprised under this administration's NLRB either.
That probably helped the union continue its recalcitrant position.
Twinkies could survive a nuclear holocaust but not BCTGM, and now the union wants another chance to kill them?
Good luck with that, assholes!
I once did contract work for this bunch of thugs. The first thing they told me after we signed the contract was that we would do good work for them or they would harm us physically.
Even back then (1980s), there top brass were making mid- to upper-six figures.
Bunch of damned thieves.
I wasn’t talking about you. You just happened to be the the last post on the thread when I posted. Don’t take it so personal because I certainly didn’t mean it to be.
Hey, looky here!
You eat a boat load of Twinkies, you can go kill the heck out of someone, and GET AWAY WITH IT!!
Especially if you’re QUEER!
It’s called the “TWINKIE DEFENSE!”
For real, it is a real legal term.
FLAME ON!
Kewl < /eye roll>
-— The union people here in the Seattle area were outraged. Honestly, what did they think was going to happen? The economy is in the tank, people are losing their jobs everywhere; but, you should get a big raise ‘cause, why? You are in a union? -——
It’s really tough to figure. Even if you assume that the leaders are commies, it still doesn’t make sense to commit suicide.
Hey, KCVL,
I suspect you are a thinking person who has been spoon fed the parrot head squawking points.
But somewhere along the line, your brain kicked in and now you are severely conflicted.
Have a care, those you believe your friends and allies, will become your worst enemies.
I don’t know that many here have read your posts completely and because of that have jumped to crazy conclusions.
Your point about the AFL-CIO was what caught my attention. It was a good and valid point.
Call em as you see em.
