Boston Bruins/Buffalo Sabres National Anthem at TD Garden - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZzMsagY7oRs
The “Kid” is a terrorist who blew up an eight year old?!? Some of you people are seriously messed up... I’m going back to not reading posts on this.
Yup.
We’re all being awfully hard on The Beav.

I watched this coverage for a while CNN around 3AM and they were stuttering and stumbling on words to try oh so hard not to say the word “terrorist” even though Boston PD was using it freely.
Balaclavas hide your face from cameras. Many cops do not want their faces on the internet. Also, they may be made of nomex, which is flame resistent.
Flashlights on rifles is so they can shine light into dark spaces with rifle in position. Also cheap targeting device.
So far as the flashlight....that actually is a good idea if used correctly. In low/no light situations a high powered flashlight can quickly illuminate a dark room/hallway/alley etc while also blinding your opponent (the more illumines the better).
You don't want to be walking down the street or hallway with it illuminated, but it's good for dynamic entry, or situations where you want to dazzle/blind your opponent; Close Quarters Battle (illuminating as you enter) or when your team is moving into search a guy.....keeping him blinded makes it harder for him to react to your team.
However, they generally have a pressure switch on the forward hand grip (aka broomstick, or broom handle) that turn on the light when you squeeze it.

I suspect that if some good citizen with an AR-15 were to take the lucky shot, the cops would be VERY disappointed and angry that all their hardware and bluster and authoritah did not get to do the deed.
Charming.
*Just* charming.
Screw the 4th, eh?
I was thinking that earlier, a least on a manpower level. Firepower, not so much...
It is the kind of force that would happen under martial law.
not to disagree though am thinking first bomb.
Let me add my question to yours: Why do all these police types all group closely together? Seems that would make them easy to hit. Aren’t soldiers taught to spread themselves out?
“Even if all the bad guys are killed or captured, our enemies must feel emboldened.”
And why wouldn’t they?
The dude “protecting America” is Mr Worldwide Apology Tour.
It does seem like it would make a great target.
All the universities in Massachusetts are closed as I understood it.

Why hook him to an EKG machine? Looks obviously dead to me.
Now that makes sense. Thanks
