Caution, FReepers.
If true, I would certainly consider that grounds for a divorce. However, knowing that there are cops out there who will write anything in an official report to justify their actions, etc., I am unwilling to jump on the “dump her now” bandwagon.
Oh that explains it. The guy was ranting, ranting against government officials trying to illegally search his home. Ranting in defense of the constitution. Ranting against idiotic people that have no concept of the law and can’t make a rational decision that a boy with a gun is not illegal.
Exactly what are they doing watching YouTube anyhow?
How many government employees are monitoring FR? You can bet they are.
What’s wrong with Alinsky? The tactics work. When working an issue his guidance is a big help.
What do you do when you go to a local council meeting, just figure your three minutes at the public speaker podium is the only tool in your box?
Hey ATF, eff you!
Thanx babe. She’s not a keeper.
None of which is illegal.
I highly doubt this subjective enhancement of the tale by the police is true or worth the ink it took to write it.
Besides, what kind of mother isn't first worried about a DYFS person threatening to take her kid from the house.
Knowing NJ, this is CYA by the cops--they know they stepped in it bigtime, and need to justify what they did, as they are not used to any kind of resistance--especially the legal resistance shouted at them by the lawyer on the phone.
This is precisely why you don't say anything to cops without a lawyer present. Whatever you say, even innocently, can and WILL be used against you.
The Philadelphia Daily News is one of the last newspapers I would trust.
Good grief, that paper is the retarded little sister of the communist Philadelphia Inquirer.
If I faced a similar situation, with cops and affirmative action “child services” mice beating down my door and demanding to see my gun safe, I’d be “ranting, WTF!”, too.
You better be careful. Big brother is watching

If the police can drive a wedge between a man and his wife, they have them. I have seen it happen. They push for just the least hint of “domestic violence”, then pounce.
I am told that threatening to take the children if a request for a protective order is not filed - there goes guns, house, maybe job - is a standard ploy.
I know. It’s very sad.
That crap happens all too often. Cops should know better.
I bet the cops here would stain their undies if they saw my daughter a few years ago. I took her hunting and on the way home I let her pop a couple into a bank (dirt) armed with a .243 w/ scope. She enjoyed it.
