Dialogue with Islam is dialogue with Satan.

I was thinking the same thing, you know what we need?
A really cool one world religion and maybe a world leader.
To: RoosterRedux
Yeah. I would be happier if the Pope announced a Die A Lot with Islam by calling for a new Crusade...
To: bigheadfred
I am sure the Pope meant well. But Islam is Satanic.
If he doesn't know this, he will hurt our fight.
Perhaps he should have remained silent.
There can be no dialogue with those who are sworn to seek your death. And Satan doesn't just seek our death. It seeks the death of God Himself.

A dialogue with Islam usually end up to be a monologue.

“I am sure the Pope meant well.”
This Pope would make a great ally for Obama.

Leaders and politicians have to talk to the foes, it is their job.

He’s a well-intentioned optimist when it comes to dialogue with headchoppers. They may talk, but they’ll still hate you.
To: ansel12
“Francis explained he would work for peace, the poor and to build bridges between peoples.” It sounds more like kind of job Obama usually does.

His
own words say he is not naive, just non-threatening.

I know, but they have to talk and diplomatic language usually sounds like that, we won’t know what his views are for quite sometime.

During his Regensburg Address, Pope Benedict referred to a specific aspect of Islam that Manuel II considered irrational, namely the practice of forced conversion.
Specifically, the Pope (making clear that they were the Emperor’s words, not his own) quoted Manuel II Palaiologos as saying: “Show me just what Muhammad brought that was new and there you will find things only bad and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached.”
This is a “crimes-against-humanity” faith!

Why does this bring to mind that Fatima prophecy of a pontiff being attacked by a mob of savages with arrows?
Let’s not get cuddly with the grizzlies, it doesn’t make them teddies.

The more I read Pope Francis’ own words, and see what he actually does, the more sure I am that the Holy Spirit is with him.

Pope Francis called Friday for more dialogue with Islam and offered an olive branch to China and other countries that dont have diplomatic relations with the Holy See. Inform your Priest that you don't want the Pope doing Pope things, if it concerns you.
